December 26, when 2016 was ending, the news and media sadly reported the death of the British popstar, Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, also known as George Michael.

Even those who are not fans of pop music, have heard “Last Christmas” somewhere during the Christmas season. I myself was never into pop music, but I would sometimes sing it for karaoke.

When a music legend passes away, people say it’s the “end of an era.” As a music lover, I feel a phase of my life has ended.

A destiny or not, ironically, George Michael passed away on December 25, which became his “last Christmas.”
