Do you train until you die?
Recently, I saw interesting comment by brain scientists on television entertainment programs and I am interested in it.
It has been recognized recently that there is a causal relationship between brain training and muscle training.
Among the achievements of recent brain science research, especially good news is the discovery that “the brain does not aging with age”?
The brain can be trained until the person dies, and it is said that aging of the brain will accelerate from the 50’s if it does nothing.
Conversely if you increase “cognitive adaptability” it means that the brain will continue to evolve.
In brain science, it was said that “the brain is determined by 3 years old”, but he seems to know that “the brain grows until it dies.”
Actually, when a 90-year old began learning something new and took a brain image one year later, it seems that the growth of cranial nerve cells comparable to that studied by primary school students for one year was seen.
The human brain is made reasonably, and the brain seems to learn “energy conservation” trying to relax if continuing the same usage way. It took 1 hour to be able to do in 30 minutes.
When I was young, I call this “progress”, but in my 50s I think that energy conservation of this brain invites “degeneracy”.
This seems to be that only the specific brain region is used, and the region of the brain that is not used will degenerate markedly.
While becoming a social worker and doing his job hard, I remember and absorb various things, the brain is being trained.
However, as it is in their 40s 50s, especially men do not train the brain, but rather how to use the brain becomes “mannerized”, inviting degeneration from energy conservation.
In that respect, women have relationships in housework, childcare, and community while working, and it seems to be more “mannerized” than men.
The important thing here is always to try new stimuli, new brain usage.
What exactly should I do? . .
Perhaps someone who has just worked may get hold of her head.
It is not a matter of thinking deeply, trying walking around the house, trying a musical instrument that I longed for, trying karaoke or playing a game is a little stimulation.
If you have a small child, I think that it might be somewhat like going muddy and playing with children all day. There may be new sensations and discoveries
Exercise, jogging and muscle training are also very effective for brain stimulation.
Let’s start from tomorrow
” Why do not you start something from today, not today?
